汇报提要：The classical Birkhoff polytope theorem states that the polytope of n-by-n doubly stochastic matrices is generated by the n-by-n permutation matrices. We extend this notion to multi-dimensional arrays (aka hypermatrices or tensors). Studying the polytopes of line- and plane- stochastic tensors, we present some upper bounds for the number of the vertices of the polytopes via various approaches and show comparison of these bounds.
